Textes et Paroles de A Public Service Denouncement

Spoken All The Way Through

In this day and age members of
our population continue to blame
certain genres of music for the
criminal actions of the weak minded.
A melody is not responsible for ending
a life. A lyric does not give an
individual a right or a reason to commit
an atrocity against our civilization.
Music is simply artistic expression.
It is entertainment.

The actions taken by one Kevin Clarke
openly display the twisted view of members
of our society. Individuals that certainly
cannot be held accountable for their poor
parenting, and instead take action against
artists. Actions which result in getting albums
pulled from the shelves because of profanity.

Since the beginning of Mr. Clarke's personal
crusade, I, for one, have not noticed a
drastic change in our society. The words of
Mr. Clarke felt were too obscene to be on an
album that a child could purchase are still
being used. These words can just as easily be
learned in school, or at home.

Your actions, Mr. Clarke, have no give us a
solution, but have brought to our attention
the real problem.. ignorance.
